That Chick Lit Chick - Manila Bulletin Profile, May 24, 2008

In May 2008 I was profiled in the Manila Bulletin in an article called That Chick Lit Chick (that photo on the left was used for the newspaper edition). Read the article here. There are some inconsistencies with this piece that I'd like to address, though: first off, I graduated with a BA in Communication Arts from UPLB, not Journalism (there's no Journalism in LB!) and I never claimed to start the chick lit genre in the Philippines -- if anything I think modern Pinay chick lit owes its current form to Tara Sering's reign at Summit Books. So there, just setting the record straight!
